New Version of An Old Castle
We visited there in a tour to Huaral on 30 June 2013, the entrance fee S/. 12 for adult and S/. 5 for children. The tour guide will guide you to show around the castle after that you may walking around by yourself. There are museum, exhibition room and as one of touristic place, they have restaurant, swimming pool, souvenir shop, photo gallery and rooms if you plan to stay overnight, we asked information in the Front Office, they explained the double room S/. 120 and for double room plus 1 extra bed S/. 155. Check for their packages and promotions in their website. However, the public toilets need maintenance, there was no water to wash hand in ladies toilet on that day. Luckily we brought anti-bacterial gel and wet tissues.

Truly disappointing
To begin with, it is really sad to see that the people who manage the castle do not really take care of it. It looked dirty and neglected. The guides didn't speak English and they were uninformed and were not able to answer questions properly.
