Vast lake with lots of tourist options

One of Latvia's largest lakes - vast expanse of water. Lots of tourism options including canoeing, fishing, bike hire, swimming and boat hire. Beautiful scenery. Tourism office is closed on Monday and Tuesdays, but didn't stop us having a good time. Well worth a visit!

    Ūdens Tūrisma Attīstības Centrs Bāka
    On top of the info center is viewing platform, that offers great views of the lake. From the google maps it looked like here is plenty to do, but not really. I would recommend this to you, if you are bicycling around the country.
