Hike to Charco Prieto
Charco Prieto was difficult to find but a beautiful treasure in Puerto Rico. The climb is scenic and challenging at times. Be sure to wear shoes with traction and clothes that can get wet or dirty. I fell 3 times and consider myself to be pretty fit. Slippery rocks and mud can be a surprise even when you are expecting them. The waterfall at the top is worth the hike and the bruises!!! We visited on a sunny day.
