    Beautiful park/town square
What a pretty park known as the town square with its tall Cook Island Pine Trees surrounded by the cute little town. So many nice eateries, grocery stores, art galleries, etc. The people are very friendly here—actually, we heard the story that even thought Molokai is known as the “Friendly Isle”, truth be told, it’s Lanai that’s truly the “friendly isle”. I’d agree with that consensus! The park & town is a lovely place to walk and spend an an hour or two including chatting with the proprietors of the shops who are eager to engage in conversation.

Wonderful retreat from the days heat
In middle of the town square. Lined by huge Cook Island pines which provides amazing shade from the sun's harsh heat. Grounds are clean and there are nice tables to have a meal while just soaking in the cute town square.
