Beautiful temple complex with large reclining buddha
The temples and chedis here were very beautiful but my favorite part was the large reclining buddha in one of the temples. The depictions on the bottom of his feet make this place well worth a stop, and the other temples and statues are not to be missed, either. Particularly the 4 statues of the buddha under the Bodhisattva tree. Glad we took the time to pop by!

Genuine
After so many colorful temples, modern tacky additions, shiny restorations, this temple seems genuine and authentic. Also restored, it's 500 years old, but still gives the impression of an original Lanna Temple. It has an UNESCO Award for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage.

Beautiful wat, very empty
This wat was closed when we visited, but walking around the outside was interesting. It is a beautiful building, with interesting carvings. Recommended if you are visiting Lampang.
