Gorgeous ancient temple.
The almost 400 year old Chiang Tung (Keng Tung) style temple has a sumptuous arch door contains detailed stucco art of many mythical creatures in the legendary Himmapan forest (Himavanta) and a red dog sculpture. Its small hall is in Lanna style with beautiful cascading roofs. Interior structure of these roofs are wood decorated with ancient paintings of golden Lanna pattern and standing Buddha. Moreover, there is a Lanna pagoda contains Buddha relics at the back of the hall. All of these architectures are on the sand field according to the characteristic of traditional Lanna temple.
