Small peaceful lake
It’s about 15 minutes walk from the train station. The lake was jam packed with visitors,in fact the whole Yufuin town was due to the long weekend when we visited. The lake is small,tranquil and calm but not the surroundings. We would have enjoyed more if it’s not as crowded. There are cafes and restaurants around the lake.

Water is warm and hot
It was in winter and the water flowing from this lake is hot. This lake is small and is situated at the end of the famous Yufuin shopping street. If tired of walking and shopping, just take a break and relax beside the lake. The scenery is very tranquil and quiet if you dont get the tourists.

Nice Stroll Around a Small Lake (if you have time to spare)
Located at the top end of the popular tourist street in Yufu. If you are driving, there are a few parking lots both with attendant and self-serviced a few minutes walk before arriving. We arrived late morning and there were not many tourists. A small nice lake with calm water to spend half an hour if you are in the area. Take a cup of coffee or if arrive early, even breakfast at one of the many cafes beside the lake or along the way. Nothing much and you won't miss a lot if you are in a hurry.
