Wow
Visited Langinkoski with my husband and young son. This place is impressive, from the little bridges to the impressive lodge, there is something for everyone to enjoy. The rapids are great to watch. I took a walk through the woods whilst my husband was taking photographs, very quiet and peaceful. Great place to visit and take in the different scenery, looking forward to going back.

Langinkoski Rapids and the Czar's Fishing Lodge
Langinkoski Nature Reserve has been established to protect the natural beauty along the wooded riverbanks and to preserve the landscape around the Czar's fishing lodge. The Russian Czarist couple wanted to built this lodge in 1888. The state-owned nature reserve covers some 28 hectares. Admission to the area is free but you have to pay if you want to go in the lodge. Our children loved to sit on rocks and watch both the rapids and gulls.

Beautiful
Beautiful visit today with family, just wish we had packed a picnic as weather was fantastic too! Scenery and woodland is beautiful, lodge very interesting although overpriced as you can get round it in 5-10 mins. Free to visit surrounding area however so would definitely recommend! Just remember to pack a picnic! Free parking too !
