Great park full of attractions by the sea
This park is easily accessed by car but also in the walking distance from the city center. There is a big free parking lot with info guides, small kiosk and bajamaja toilets. Park is facing open sea and wind could hard and cold but in the sunny day it was also hot. Park is great combination of grass, meadows, rocks, water, sculpture, planetarium, playgrounds, gym equipment, tables, benches and grilling places. It has lot to see in the compact area and all parts are in good shape. Kids enjoy nice playgrounds for sure and there's also a Moomin house. This park is best part of city and for free. You can spend here hour or two to just relax and enjoy the sea. Better facilities could be appreciated though.

Afterwork jog
Perfect seashore trail to jog afterwork! Hard to keep up with pace, since so many interesting things to see and learn about. Park planetarium, signs with historical insights, beach etc. Also outdoor gym equipment along the way. And the view is super! Remember to wear a hat, since it's blowing from the sea at this time of year. ?♀️

A really entertaining afternoon
Lots to do for young children such as playparks, a 'labyrinth', swings etc. A lot of investment has gone in to this park and it is a wonderful space. We were only there for a few hours but could have easily spent the whole day there. Fantastic for families and all for free!
