The heart of Ankkapurha is Anjala manor with its park and garden. On the other side of the Kymijoki river you can enjoy Industrial Museum and Tehtaanmaki residential district designed by famous Finnish architect, Alvar Aalto. Ankkapurha offers a vast variety of free activities, such as hiking, frisbeegolf and garden picnic.

Historical area
At Ankkapurha park area you will find houses desing by Alvar Aalto, see a part of Kymiriver (Kymijoki). Also in this area is located Industrial museum. The heart of the museum is Finland’s first continuously operated board machine restored at its original place in 1997.
