Amazing and well worth the money

We went on the 4.30pm tour which stayed out until the sun was coming down and it was absolutely stunning! We seen so many hippos (including babies) and crocs it was unreal, they are absolutely fascinating to watch and the boat is such an enjoyable experience. Lovely staff and refreshments on board so you can get juice and sweets etc for the kids. Very reasonably priced and well worth the money.

    Lots of Hippos up close!
Booked the late afternoon 4-6 hippo tour right before leaving St. Lucia. We liked that the boat was not packed and that everyone on board was able to have a good view of the hiipos. Guide was friendly and tour was very informative! We had saw a hippo in town eating grass in someones yard the night before and wondered why the hippo knocked down the fence in order to get that THAT grass in particular and learned on the tour that the grass in sweeter ;) I guess if all I ate was grass, I would go for the sweeter stuff too! Saw quite a few hippo pods on the tour and only two crocs (due to the cold weather that day) and a few birds. Good value for money, would recommend when in St Lucia!

    Great experience seeing hippos
We had a 16:00 cruise on the river. Despite it being a hot day, was bloody freezing due to the wind - make sure you take a coat even if it’s hot We saw plenty of hippos which was great. There are about 3-4 main groups around Unfortunately only saw 1 croc and they’re more likely to be seen when it’s colder The guide was nice but people weren’t paying too much attention to him due to the hippos
