Known to locals as Pasar Seni, this bazaar houses more than 350 shops retailing traditional goods, art collectibles, local handicrafts, and more. The three zones—Lorong Melayu, Lorong Cina and Lorong India—feature stalls that highlight the three main races in Malaysia. Experience the different cultures and heritage as you browse through the shops. You can also snag unique souvenirs like Borneo pearls, Wau Bulan (a traditional Malay kite), and the quintessential Batik for keepsakes. When hungry, don’t miss trying local hawker fare like nasi kandar, goreng pisang, or ais kacang for a much-needed energy boost. The market is also within walking distance from Petaling Street. – Tripadvisor See more..

If the regular chain stores is not your style then Times Square is your mall. It is HUGE... even has an indoor roller coaster (I kid you not) ... so take lots of time! Be sure to haggle, you can get almost anything 20-50% cheaper than the already low prices. The variety is staggering even though repetitive. Food court on the lowest floor is a night market style, great food at great prices. You can even have a massage, mani or pedi so make it a day out, not a quick pop in!! See more..

  5. 4.0 BB Park Bukit Bintang (1.510 reviews)
    - Shopping, eating and entertaining
Wednesday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Shopping Malls
    BB Park Bukit Bintang image
Bukit Bintang is probably one of two of the most touristy spots in Kuala Lumpur for it’s concentration of hotels, shopping, architecture and entertainment. Some of the shopping is pretty upscale, but there’s plenty that’s reasonably priced, especially if you head to the nearby Jalan Alor which has more street hawkers. Some of the more interesting buildings include Starhill Gallery, but I enjoy visiting for the eclectic mix of modernity and pre-war buildings too. Can go wrong here if you want to shop, eat or be entertained. See more..
  6. 4.0 Mid Valley Megamall (1.009 reviews)
    - Alternative Place to Park when the parking is FULL
Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM Shopping Malls
    Mid Valley Megamall image
Mid Valley is a great mall to shop or to get all the necessity. It is like everything in one place. There are so many places to dine in which you will not find any difficulties in choosing what to eat. However, the car parks are always full which take too much time queuing and finding a spot. But still I need to bear it because no other great mall as Mid Valley. However, recently I found out an alternative way of parking my car. There is this new mall, KL Eco City Mall across the road and there is a linked bridge from KL Eco City Mall to Mid Valley which might take you few minutes to walk along the bridge. And it is so easy to find empty spots, the parking rate is affordable. You may try one day if it is hard to find empty spots in Mid Valley! See more..
