TUZ GULO
TUZ GULO is a large area of lake salt, an hour and a half away from Ankara, a must to visit, many people visit it to walk on salt, a cure for body pain, there is a shop where you can buy some soap and cream made of salt, there is a restaurant you can eat and drink coffee and tea.

Fun Stop
This was a great place to take a stop during our drive. The lake is beautiful, and the water was already picking up its summer pinkish color from the algae. Shoes must be removed near the lake. Walking barefoot on the loose salts was fine, but the salt bed in the water was very hard, making it difficult to walk. We still managed to walk out far enough to be by ourselves. When leaving the beach, a chair or two was available for putting on footwear. We also washed our hands at a sink near the shops. This was a great way to break up a drive.
