SEC football at its best

A group of friends and I take a yearly Sports Trip consisting of a College football game, NFL and baseball game. This year we went to watch the Tennessee vs. Ole Miss game (10/16/20)... This has been to date the best College Football game and atmosphere that I have been to...and I have been to Notre Dame, Georgia, LSU, Clemson, Texas A&M, USC, UCLA. The crowd was awesome, until you are in a stadium with 102455 fans screaming you have not experienced college football at its best! The fans are nice, unless you are Lane Kiffern but he deserves everything they gave him. I would recommend getting there early enough to watch the Vol walk, and absolutely get a parking pass ahead of time. The G10 parking structure is worth paying for it is literally right next to the stadium.

Everyone Should Visit at Least Once
There is literally no other stadium like it in terms of atmosphere. The roar of the Big Orange crowd can be deafening, giving good reason for the visiting teams to be intimidated. The air is electric regardless as to if the Vols are winning or losing. Recent additions have made the stadium even better with LED lighting that can be used for light shows, as well as the return of the iconic VOLS letters lining the top of the stadium. The jumbotron has also recently been updated. All in all, regardless as to if you are a Tennessee or even football fan, this is a landmark that can't be missed. Have dinner at Ye Olde Steakhouse or join the Vol Navy for the full experience.

A Good Time - One Small Flawed Detail
This is an exciting Stadium with fans that drive, wear, scream, and bleed orange in the most loyal tail gating sort of way and all their traditions that go way way back. They even plan their weddings around the games in this stadium in order to have guests come for their special day. Use to be you could not by a beer in the stadium but that is now being offered along with some new snack and food choices. The acoustics are good in the stadium for watching the band at half time. Season tickets can be difficult to obtain. The flaw is in the very top rows of the stadium where you must place one foot in front of the other and my 5'6" frame found my knees in the back of the person in front of me...the architect on this addition must have been mad "packing them in" like that. Expect parking to be challenging and long lines leaving the stadium.
