Very interesting modernized museum

We were very pleasantly surprised with the new modern wing of this museum. Very informative, interactive, photogenic and honestly very interesting. We had a great time here, and already recommended it to all our friends and family members who have any interest in museums.

Catching vibes of historical part of Klaipeda
Great that it is possible to walk around the castle cellars. Interesting expositions and indescribable feeling.. After a visit, surely you will have a better understanding about history of Klaipeda. I recommend! And a student entrance ticket costs less than 1 €

Klaipeda Castle Museum
An interesting visit, enough to keep 2 people aged 11-50 occupied. There are two parts, which isn't instantly noticed and plenty outside to look at. This is small scale and parts are still under excavation, etc but really interesting for a visit as it's easily reached by foot from the other interesting parts to see in central Klaipeda. Plenty of information given in different languages. Very reasonable entrance fee once you realize there is more than the first part of the museum.
