Good museum to visit once
The walk to the museum is really refreshing within the woods. The air feels so fresh. The moment one reach to the building, the smell of roses fill you. The colourful garden around is very soothing to the eyes with a lush green backdrop of cone trees. Inside the museum, there is a good collection of amber sculptures. Some old and some new. Its a good walk around the building. The souvenir shop is expensive as compared to the market near the peer, but the goods from museum comes with certain degree of authenticity about amber, also known as ‘gintare’ in Lithuanian.

A special and informative place with amazing amber art
Anyone who has a slight interest in the history and art of this area must visit the museum. It is one of those unique theme museums you will not find in other places in the world. The location and the building are amazing and the amber issue is very well presented together with some fine art made of this material. Not to be missed!!

Interesting content, beautiful building
This museum was very nice - it exceeded my expectations. It had a wide array of items on display that my whole family found interesting. For my kids, the ability to move magnifiers around and explore was great. The building is also quite beautiful.
