So cool!!
We strolled through here around 6:30 on a Thursday evening while visiting Key Biscayne from PA. We had the whole place to ourselves. It was kind of creepy but super cool. Saw many peacocks, other birds, iguanas, turtle, rabbit, and I think two crocodiles. It was better than a real zoo. Definitely check it out.

Out of this world
Please stop here while in Key Biscayne. It is like going back in time - an old zoo-type park that now is taken over naturally by birds and critters. Yes, we saw peacocks, ibises, iguanas, gorgeous ducks, egrets. Very manageable for strollers, walkers or wheelchairs. Free and in the open - we got in a couple of mile walk that was unforgettable.

This is Miami's old zoo
They have made it into a park. Very pleasant to visit, you may see some varieties of animals, including alligators;
