Wonderful beach
We visited on MLK day and then again that Tuesday, and neither time was crowded at all. Lovely beach, easy parking, and a nice food stand that had plenty of toys for our toddler. Highly recommend!

Peaceful beach
Nice uncrowded beach with soft white sand. We didn't notice the parking meter signs and got a $46 parking ticket plus $42 to rent two lounge chairs for a couple of hours. It was an expensive beach trip!

Pleasant, wide beach with shade
My husband and I visited this beach one sunny, weekday afternoon earlier in February. The parking lot was very large and the cost was just $5.00 for us. It does close at 6 pm though. The beach was almost empty and very quiet. I sat in the sun and my husband wad able to settle in the shade under a couple of palm trees. There is a building with washrooms accessible to beach visitors, as well as outside showers. It was only a handy 10 min drive from Brickell across the bridge to Biscayne Key. We would happily go back .
