Texas History
This is the former home of the Charles Schreiner family. This family helped settle this part of Texas. The furniture, photos, multimedia presentation, and knowledgable receptionist make the visit pleasant. A guided or self-guided walk through are available. It nice for a casual afternoon after lunch at a downtown cafe. There is no fee to visit but a contribution is appreciated.

Interesting family story
This mansion is only partially furnished as it was in the late 1800s because the space is used for other purposes, but the artifacts and history of the building (and the town) are quite interesting. No cost and worth a look.
