A different monument

Among all monuments in Iran you rarely see octagon structurs. In this point of view it is a unique shape. Thises day is a museum exhibiting grave stones and other inscriptions. It is near the beatiful mountains of Kerman city.as mountains were considered a suitable places for worshping God and were somehow holy. The material used for constructing the walls and great dome is stone and Sarouj mortar and some say milk of camel were added to the mortar to make it more stronger and durable.

    One and only stony building in Kerman
    Another historical masterpiece of iranian architecture which made by stone and its history is a mystery.visiting has no limited and there is also a lobely park beside...dont miss it..

    Octagonal Building
    Gonbad-e Jabaliye is an Octagonal Building located in Kerman. Currently it is museum of rock . Its closed to Saheb az zaman mosque and biggest man made jungle in Kerman.
