MIND. BLOWN.
I LOVE this museum, yet this is so unbelievably under-rated. For a marine conservation fanatic like me, this has to be one of the best museum I have ever visited. I spent an entire afternoon here exploring the (was it 5 or 7 storey) building. It was a crazy lot of really impressive displays, covering everything relating to marine science, from marine conservation, to different marine habitats, marine scientific research works & how they are done, to fishing technologies, to the science behind saltwater composition, underwater evolution, and even naval warfare & shipbuilding technologies. They even have a deep-sea gallery, and lots of beautiful displays, simulating interactives and 3D theatre (didn't have enough time for this one). This place can be a little bit of a visual overload for those who have little or no interest in science / marine related issues. But well, for the (low) price you pay, you can just skip those topics that you have no interest in, and zoom in straight on those that interest you. Great place to hide away from the crowds on a weekend / rainy day. One should visit this museum on a weekend, and visit the other places of interest on weekdays (less people) I believe kids will love this place too. A must-go, in my personal opinion.

Fantastic for kids!
Fantastic for kids! The indoor play area for kids was so much fun with a lot of interactive learning. Would definitly recommend paying this place a visit. The restaurant also came up trumps and we enjoyed a delicious meal for a good price.
