Picturesque Beach
Our last stop on a van tour we did, this looks like the place to be. Very nice beach, and the two little "ponds" look perfect for ocean swimming. Some of the most picturesque photos we took during the tour. There are some great trees right by the water, that frame some beautiful pictures of the ocean and the waves.

A great place for kids
I wish I had my grandchildren with me! The Kamalani playground is huge and mostly shady (although the large area for kids with mobility issues is sun-baked). The beach is fun with driftwood and rocks to explore and a protected childrenʻs swimming lagoon. There are shady picnic tables and bathrooms. Quite a few interpretive signs, an ancient Hawaiian sacred Heiau and hidden petroglyphs add something to think about.
