Early morning Rainbow

Early in the morning, I stopped at the Hanalei Valley lookout on my way to the Okolehao Trail. I was in no rush to leave the area, so I fed the hen and her chicks a banana. A rainbow appeared to compliment the view of Hanalei Valley.

    Nice View of the Valley
    Little pull off along the road for a nice view of the valley. Cars come and go, so we were able to get a spot. You see the fields and mountains below. Snapped some quick shots, 5 minute visit.

    Quick stop - Beautiful View
    It is easy to overlook Kauai’s interior on the Kuhio Hwy as you ogle the beaches and shoreline. But make this quick stop to appreciate the taro fields stretching across the valley leading to mountains oozing waterfalls everywhere (if you stop after a rain.) you wont regret this 10 minute stop.
