    My first time in Odaiba
I found the Odaiba/Ariaki Districts convenient and comfortable...comfortable because there were no large crowds at the shopping centers at train stations and on the trains. Convenient because there were several shopping centers close by....and a train stop just outside the front door of the hotel where I stayed. The Odaiba/Ariaki area is also only one transfer at Shimbashi to Tokyo Station. The only negative was getting there from Narita...it is a long way. Haneda is only 20 minutes away and at least one hotel runs a shuttle service from there.

A taste of West in the East
Just a train away from Tokyo is this island district Odaiba for all your amusement needs. The fan favorite Gundam Cafe with the giant Robot showcasing it skills is a must visit. The whole island gives you a western world vibe, even remember seeing a Liberty Statue replica. If on a tight schedule can be avoided for experiencing other unique places Japan has to offer especially if you are from Western World. Visisted Oct 2018.
