A beautiful statue and area in general

A really well maintained statue, I really recommend to get informed about the story of Hachiko before visiting. The place itself felt really calm and there was like an atmosphere of respect toward this fantastic dog. Apart from the statue itself, all the area is really well maintained, everything is super clean even if it’s situated in the center of a big district like Shibuya, it’s beautiful, I love it to the point that I went the first time in the morning and then I came back a second time to visit it also during the evening. I loved this place so much, can’t wait to see it again next time I’ll be in Tokyo!

    A tribute for Hachiko
Hachiko Statue is one of the famous landmarks not only in Tokyo but the entire Japan. This statue is dedicated to Hachiko, a famous Akira dog, who waited for 8 years for his master to return without knowing that his master already passed away due to a heart attack. I recommend you watch the Hachiko movie to know the story. Hachiko Statue normally has a long queue so it would be best to go here at midnight or so, to avoid crowds.
