Amazingly impressive work

I was moved by his great expressiveness. This museum was better than I expected. But, the explanation board is only in Japanese.

    A bit over priced but enjoyable
    I almost didn't go because it is expensive for a small-ish museum featuring only one artist (1600 yen). However, I am glad I did. It was fascinating to see the variety of effects that can be obtained by one artist working mostly in just one style. Some of the pieces really touched me and I found myself going back to look at a couple of them more than once. My 2 year-old loved the kage-e theater. The museum was small enough that she didn't get bored and there were a lot of families with young kids so I didn't worry too much if she made noise. The final piece on display in the back of the museum was truly breathtaking.
