PUNCAK MATANG KALADAN nan indah

The Matang Keladan Hill is located in Tiwingan Lama Village, Aranio District of Banjar Regency , South Kalimantan / Borneo Province. This hill in thearea of the Riam Kanan Dam Pier , which is about 1 hour from Martapura City. The surrounding community has facilitated with steps and ropes or rattan that is stretched so as to make it easier for visitors to climb towards the peak.

NIKMATI PEMANDANGAN BERSAMA KELUARGA DI BUKIT MATANG KALADAN
Bukit Matang Kaladan is one of 3 interesting places in Aranio District. Located on a hill with a fairly difficult route even though the journey will not take too long, just 30 minutes to get to the location from the nearest village. Transportation to the location if from downtown Banjarbaru you can use 2-wheeled or 4-wheeled vehicles. It would be better to rent it because public transportation to the location at that time was still limited. The road to the village is smooth asphalt and easy to reach. From the nearest village, tourists can use a motorcycle taxi service managed by a tourism-aware community group (Pokdarwis) to get to the location. The track taken is quite challenging for adrenaline. The road leading to the top is still dirt with a sharp upright incline. Left and right of shrubs and occasionally meet ravines. Arriving at the top of the hill, we were immediately treated to a very amazing view. Overlay of the right cascade dam decorated with small green grassy hills. At the location have provided photo spots such as boats, huts, monitoring towers and others. When you are on the hill, the journey has paid off and you will be reluctant to go down. Enjoy the beautiful natural scenery of South Kalimantan on Bukit Matang Kaladan.

Nice View With Short Trekking
It has a nice view of islands in Riam Kanan dam. A little bit similar with Raja Ampat. Short 30 mins trekking fron Aranio village. It has camping ground too but you have to bring your own equipment and be aware in rainy day. You can reach this place from Banjarbaru through Riam Kanan until at the end you can reach Aranio Village. Just follow the main road to "puncak", park your motorbike or car in villagers house (IDR 5k/motorbike), trekking in rubber trees farm up to the hill. There are some "warung" over there in case you need water or just and instant noodle soup. Also some instragram friendly spots to take selfie with IDR 5k/spot. If you are too tired to do the trekking, you can pay a motorbike "ojek" in the village or just contact the number in one of my pictures. This is good enough for me because the cost to go to Bukit Batas (Pinus island) need IDR 450k/boat, 2 hours boat trip one way and extreem 60 degrees trekking track. My time is not enough for it.
