Green and serene, guides helped us see bekantan!
Having booked a car through our hotel, it was easy to get there - our driver just took us there! It is a beautiful green location and obviously well looked after - very clean. In fact wedding photos were being taken when we arrived! We enjoyed the trip in the boat on the water with our guides - so close to the mangroves - we saw birds, amphibious fish and of course bekantan!

lots of nature
We were serenaded by bird song, whistles, pops, squawks and sibilant scribbles, but could we see them? No – save the occasional Imperial Pigeon overhead and a Pacific Swallow which followed us up river. But it was beautiful – and wild. This is the haunt of the fearsome estuarine crocodile of the Indo-Pacific, which can grow over 20 feet long.

a maze
The entrance was quite tricky, after we find it, along side the path many place where people live but not good for drainase. It was not good for visitor to see, i mean they need help.
