Join one of the biggest celebrations of the waterways and floating markets at Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, Borneo. Over three days more than 250 jukungs (local wooden boats) take to the Martapura River to celebrate the tradition of shopping on floating markets. This impressive sight coupled with the elaborately decorated jukung competition makes this event absolutely worth the visit. Plus there are a whole bunch of other activities for you to experience including rowing competitions, local art shows and a whole range of different culinary events.
