Great Finnish sauna experience
There is nothing more Finnish than Sauna, right? The day of outdoor activities culminates in our spectacular Sauna World. Nine different saunas and three jacuzzis, both inside and outside, as well as a nice pool area surely gives an idea why a real sauna-experience is the most relaxing thing you can imagine. Sauna World is the perfect place to relax and unwind in the beautiful scenery of lake Syväjärvi. You can take a dip in the lake Syväjärvi all year round! Our poolside bar has snacks and beverages of all sorts so you can refuel while you unwind. Our gym is free of charge for all our spa customers. You may even rent the whole Sauna World for a private event from a couple of hours to a full day. Here you can organize meetings and parties that surely are not easily forgotten.

The best Sauna experience ever!
What a wonderful way to unwind after a superb cross country skiing session in the surrounding trails. I choose a daytrip here from Oulu, leaving at 07.30 from the city on a skibus. After spending a few hours outdoors, I was ready to warm up in this fabulous little relaxation oasis. I tried the indoor saunas first: the Steambath, Karelian Sauna and the Ural Cave Sauna. I left out the Infrared and the Finnish Saunas, as I wanted to check out the breathtaking views from the Panoramic Sauna and leaving enough time for the Smoke Sauna on the lake and the Kelowood Sauna (the hottest sauna I've ever been to). There is a possibility to go into the frozen lake for the bravehearted, but this time I chickened out and choose the hot tub and the jacuzzi instead. As my skibus was leaving back to Oulu at 17.00, I was enjoying the whole place to myself in the early afternoon hours. I caught the first glimpses of the Sun going down for the day enjoying my last moments in the jacuzzi. What a perfect day spent on a perfectly reasonable budget! Nice saunas and small pool
Saunaworld offers some nice saunas to experience and a small therapy and kids pool to relax in. Unfortunately not all saunas were open, and are only heated on Saturdays, which means we missed out on some of the more unusual saunas. They also close a bit too early, not leaving enough time for a full day at the slopes followed by a couple of hours at the saunaworld. There's a chance to go iceswimming which is nice!
