Hike in Skagen Plantation and visit to sandy chirch

If you like historical places and a Nice walk. This is a great place to go on a cloudy day. Do not go to the parking place every one Else go to but either walk there from Skagen city or if you arrive from South go to one of the first crossings in Skagen plantation. The plantation is very special and vegetation is typical for sandy Ground. Take the walk aolong one og the many tracks and plan the walk through the place where the Church use to be and where only the tower is left from the historical sandstorms. If you are ises to walk then also include both coastlines West and East

    Nature walk... Why a church?
We really enjoyed this walk. As others in Denmark, it is not challenging but rather pleasant and quite calm and beautiful. Corona means the structure is closed to visitors. This is fine until you find that the inside includes info about the place. VERY nice!

Take the time to see this
If you have time take it to see this landmark. Not the most spectacular sight to see but still worth the time if you are in the area. Nice walk from the parking lot through local vegetation and all of a sudden it appears. Take the climb in the tower although not super challenging you will support a local landmark. But why they don’t accept electronic payment at least from Danes is beyond my understanding.
