Brilliant

I real gem of a museum about the biggest seabattle in history in ww1. In a couple of hours you get a real tour de force of the sea war in ww1 leading up to the battle of jutland and the actual battle. The Museum eminates the thought and care that has gone into the creation of it. Surprised to see the ancestor of admiral Jellicoe in the lineup as an example. You leave enlightend about seawar but also the human cost for both german and british seamen.

An excellent museum on WW l Maritime Warfare in the North Sea!
The Sea War Museum Jutland in Thyboron was an incredibly nice surprise and much, much more than anticipated. The museum is just excellent with well organized historical artifacts, displays and illustrations. The personal narration devices further allow one to understand what happened during that not so long ago sobering and grim time. Outside the museum burial stones situated in the sandy landscape offer a beautifully simple memorial for the many lives lost. It all gives pause for reflection. Thoroughly recommended...please visit.

    Teksttung men spændende
English: Great museum. Not super child friendly, but mostly targeted at adults. Lots of posters and lots of text made out a little heavy. But many stories of the sea battles and many items to look at made it an interesting museum to explore. The museum kept a neutral standpoint throughout the exhibition and I appreciate that. There are no heroes and villains, just marines. It also really affected me to read about the many shibs and crewmembers which were lost, and then walk through the memorial park afterwards. A recommendable experience.
