4.5 (128 reviews) Spent Ranking #1 in East Jutland National Parks

Stunning views and interesting historic sights.

I wish I had more time there, so I´ll have to come back to see much more of this wonderful little corner in Denmark.

Wonderful nature for hikes and MBK' s
I live relatively close to National Park Mols Bjerge, and would realy like to point out this magnificent park to visitors. You can find a lot of marked hiking trails that will take you around in the hilly area with plenty of beautiful views over the different bays and coastline. The place called "Tre høje" is always fun for children to visit. Small villages are scattered around the area, and the many small roads are well suited for a MBK trip. You will often be able to buy fresh fruit and vegetables from the local farmers, but only the larger villages have a grocery so make sure to bring water before you take of. I would advice a visitor to bring a map of the area to make sure you can find your way around. The park is wonderful in all seasons. A small leaflet is found here: http://www.naturstyrelsen.dk/pv_obj_cache/pv_obj_id_EC6E582A0BA5BB39FA7C9FAD9CC0E50107AC0600/filename/NPMolsBjerge_UK_A3.pdf

    Impressive scenery
This national park gives you a perfect glimpse of the most beautiful landscape in Denmark. Start the trip at the Sletterhage lighthouse at the edge of the peninsula, have an homemade icecream, and sit for a while to enjoy the view and the sound of the waves. If the lighthouse is open, have a look at the exhibiton before starting the climb to the top and the magnificent view of the Aarhus bay. Stay in the Danish "mountains" for the whole day and end your visit with a wonderful meal at the Molskroen in the vicinity of Ebeltoft. this is Denmark at its best.
