Museum Jorn is one of the most renowned art museums in Scandinavia, comprimising the second largest art colelction in Denmark. The collection focuses on two of the, internationally, most influential Danish artists Asger Jorn (1914-1973) and Per Kirkeby (1938-2018). Furthermore it compromises 30,000 works by more than 550 other artists, including Pablo Picasso, Max Ernst, Fernand Léger, Le Corbusier, Jean Dubuffet, Francis Picabia, Sonja Ferlov Mancoba, Georg Baselitz, Markus Lüpertz, Andreas Slominski and Erwin Wurm. The museum's collection is reinterpreted on a refular basis through temporary exhibitions, educational activities and events.

Very nice
Very nice exhibition with good selection and relevant comments translated in english. Not overly easy to find without google maps...

LOVE It... (Even im local)
If you like the Cobra period, you will here found an gem... Almost everything is about Asger Jorn, and you will find Art from his long creative life. But of course there are other, things to look at, and you will for sure also like the sorroundings... This is my best place to advise in Silkeborg
