Neat harbour
What a great little harbor. It may be small but it has the kind of small port character you dream of. All the people we met were very friendly, both the sailing crowd and the locals. One guy actually stopped his car and gave us a lift back to the harbor with our shopping from the little market in the nearby village. The restaurant had good food though the ambience was a bit sparse but there was a sailors ’lounge’ where we could congregate and even cook. The facilities, hot showers etc, were clean and someone obviously took pride in their job. Well worth a visit, as is the local area.

We always go visit Maarup Havn on the way back from Issehoved and Nordby.
Maarup harbor is a small quiet beautiful place with older buildings. Here you can really enjoy the roar of the sea and the rush of the wind to the taste of wonderful lobster soup.

Tiny little harbour
Located just outside Marup this is a quaint little harbour which makes for an enjoyable stroll. There is a cafe but it was closed the day we visited (Sunday). There is ample car parking.
