Sandy and always clean beach!
Runners will love this beach: you could run for miles without any interruption. There is a lot of space for anyone. Very clean beach and good water quality. There is also a Snack Bar in Lökken directly at the beach. Clean toilets available. During high season, Life Guards are on duty temporarily.

Great beach in the north of Jutland
Always nice to take a long walk on the beach where you can feel the bright air, the light, the sometimes roaring sea and complete freedom.

Driving on the beach
We drove from Blokhus to Lokken in our car on the beach. The sand has been compacted, so you can go in a regular car. No need for terrain-going vehicles. It's a fantastic feeling and a great experience for the children to drive right next to the ocean. Make sure you stay on the "road", as it is embarrassing to having to call for a tow :-)
