We truly enjoyed our visit here. A piece of proud Danish history here. Well worth your time. No entry fee. Superb giftshop for you to visit to support the local traditions. This place is even a UNESCO World Heritage site

Nice
It's really nice to see how they make the salt that's famous in Denmark. You can see everything for free :) If you have the time take the Rønner safari which also starts from here.

Salt making
Interesting visit to place where salt is produced using the century old process of warming up salty underground water taking from wells near the sea. Detailed explanations provided - in Danish. The setting with the reconstructed buildings is nice, it is possible to make your own salt. Worth a visit.
