Worth a Visit
Good piece of Viking history. I was really pleased to see something created in the Viking area. You can see by the curve in the land where the canal was.

Vikings could build in large scale
The approximately 500 m long and 11 m wide “Kanhave channel” is one of Viking Age's largest building works built in the early 7th century. The year can be confirmed to 726 due to the well-preserved timber which secured the channel against the collapse, due to the sandy terrain.
