Extremely nice aviation museum
The aircraft in this museum are among the most pristine examples I have ever seen. The museum takes great care of the aircraft, and this really shows. The museum is located in a new and modern building, and the small hangars that make up around half the museum are home to flight worthy aircraft that tour the Danish airshow circuit every summer.

Comprehensive collection of aircraft in Danish markings
This is a very nice air museum in Western Denmark. The latest hangar was completed in 2007 and there are some great examples spanning the history of the Danish Air Force. This Museum is sort of out the way and it may not be known to many, but if your an avid aviation enthusist and you enjoy seeing British and U.S. aircraft in foreign markings, then this museum is a must. I also enjoyed being able to get up and close with the aircraft and all of the displays are explained in Danish, German and English. Finally, there is a small gift shop and coffee bar for after your visit.

Impressive collection
The place appears quite small but houses an interesting collection. Mainly training aircraft but also several iconic planes like the Spitfire, Catalina, DC47 and a Danish Airforce F16 Fighting Falcon. There are also several helicopters on display. There is a small airshow happening every week on Wednesdays where planes from the museum actually fly. The airshow is in the evening when weather permits. Dogs are allowed inside the museum on a leash.
