    What a great place
We went to the Viking Village on a rainy day. The staff were extreme friendly and helpful and ensured an authentic, informative and fun experience for the whole family. You get to see the daily life in the Viking times, see them cook and do crafts and everybody was happy to explain to us their specific area of expertise. We even got to taste some roasted deer. A definite recommendation for a family friendly outing.

mysterious location, competent and entertaining guides
The museum is "alive" with guides at each station that but you competently and multi-lunigual in perspective with a quotedian viking live scenario. Craftsmensship and housekeeping, trade and art come to life! All this presented as in-depth as you and your kids can bear. Dont miss out to fire a couple of arrows from a longbow and to train your swordsmanship like a strong Viking!
