Excellent Experience

I have dove with this company 4-5 times in the last 6 months, and each experience has been very good. Captain Kenny was friendly and flexible with where customers wanted to go. Zach and Kayla did a phenomenal job explaining the dive sites and generally working to be as helpful as possible. Zach even took and shared some video of my first pole-spearing of lionfish, which is a great memory. I highly recommend them. You should be aware there is a sign on the boat that says, "Standard Tip" is $10 a tank/person, which may put off some people.

    Devotion to Diveocean ?
There’s always an energetic and incredibly competent crew on board the Diveocean with drops at new areas we haven’t explored previously and a focus on safety. Love the family and community that the Scuba Works espouses - it’s a great dive op in one of the best diving environments in Florida. Grateful for every day I am out in the Atlantic with the Scuba Works folks!

    Excellent time with Scuba Works
The reason we went with this charter company was that they offered a Groupon for a 2 tank dive. $50 for two tanks is a great deal. They work out of a private marina that has the entrance in front of the Square Grouper. This is a restaurant bar on the water. We unloaded our gear/tanks at the entrance and they have carts to take our gear to the boat. Lex was the deck hand, she was quite friendly and got us on board after a little paperwork. We were the first to arrive and had first pick of seats. We chose the starboard side under cover. We set up our gear while other divers arrived. One party of three had a dive guide provided by Scuba Works and another group was an instructor with students. Our Dive Master was Hannah. She does a great job, I know her from another dive company. We got in the water and away we went with the current that was pretty fast that morning on a reef called Scarface. Lots of fish, Barracudas, reef sharks, and a Goliath Grouper. Our second dive after a one hour surface interval was on a reef called Lighthouse. This was a great dive. So many big Green sea turtles. Some were napping under ledges others were in the open lettings us cruise right past them. A great dive!! Temp was 75 degrees on the bottom around 70 feet. Visibility was 40 to 50 feet. They have two dive ladders at the stern. Take off yours fins and pass them up. Lots of cold water, soft drinks and snacks are available. They did briefings from the Captain, Deck hand, Lex, and Dive Master, Hannah that covered emergencies, boat operations, and the dive sites. I'm going to go out with them again.
