An amazing old gem
Civic center is a lovely rustic venue directly on the Atlantic Ocean.i have been there for many events at different times of year and although it’s not air conditioned it’s always breezy and cool by the sea. Great for party’s up to 100. Dress it up or leave it as is, the ocean makes it!

Excellent Venue
My friend had her wedding at this location. She hired Kathryn Fagan Enterprises to coordinate the vendors, decorate the facility and handle the wedding day functions. This "shack on the beach" was perfect for us coming from up north. So close to the ocean! PERFECT.

Wedding and the Beach
We recently had a wedding at this venue. The venue is a very old and rustic facility with lots of decking and overlooks the beach and has great beach access. It is at the NE end of Carlin Park. The most important thing to mention is that there is NO central air conditioning. (They do mention there's no AC on their website.) The wedding we attended was at 5:00pm the 1st week of May. It was HOT and humid. There are ceiling fans and windows you open, there was some breeze, but mostly in order to get cool, you needed to walk out to the deck. There was a huge fan over the kitchen sink - but it was very old and made lots of noise. The wedding turned out lovely, our decorations were lovely, the DJ and food was great. But, you may want to be mindful of your attire if booking in late Spring/Summer.
