Delightful classical Chinese garden in the heart of the Fuzi Miao area of Nanjing. Among the gardens of South China, the Zhan Yuan Garden is a little mini with nearly half of it rockery. As you walk through the carefully designed gardens there are 18 different scenes to delight in: long bamboo, green woods, garden hills, ponds and waterfalls, strange stones and so on. Meandering paths lead you to different parts of the garden and you never know what you will see around the next bend. Exquisite scenes and beauty surround you and leave you unaware of the city outside the walls. In fact you feel like you are in a painting - well worth a visit.

It is worthy of a visit!
We spent a bit of time here, admiring the structure, the construction, the layout as well as the entire floor plan of this well-preserved big mansion. It was beautiful. Very well-thought out layout in that era of 1600s. History revealed that the leaders of the Taiping Rebellion league stayed here. Simply take a look at this map of the mansion, you can see there are a few entrances. Do check your entry & exit properly. Anyway, we came out at the back gate but there were many streets selling herbs. Also lots of things that we could buy:)) Tickets must be purchased. It took us an hour to admire the mansion. By camera-ready please.

Beautiful garden in the city
Walked over here from our hotel ( Holiday Inn Aqua City) Very beautiful peaceful and clean Lots of places to sit and rest with good shade of needed Got some great pictures as well Also some nice history and you can take a guided tour
