In the middle of traffic

You need a person to watch out for you while you take a photo to avoid getting run over. Its in the middle of traffic but lovely all the same.

A pillar in the middle of traffic
Dont get run over trying to get a good picture. This is some kind of a symbolic monument that has a religious/cultural/royal meaning, depending on whom you ask. Also, this is not the original (that was destroyed a while ago in an earthquake). Maybe worth a stop to take a picture; unfortunately, there is not a whole lot of explanation at that location as to what you are taking a picture of... we had to get that from our guide. Nothing more than a pillar on the middle of the road
This is a monument - which is just a decorated pillar on a busy crossing. However, it is tastefully done and is popular for selfies with locals and tourists - but be warned it is on the middle of the road crossing and ugly wires hanging across the road spoil the show. Ideal time to visit will be early mornings and late nights.
