Selogriyo temple is a village's Hindu temple situated on the foot of Sumbing Mountain, Windusari village. It is a nice area to visit by a walk through the village and rice fields. You may explore and feel the real Javanese atmosphere and environment.

    Serene, peaceful
    Came to visit this well hidden gem. Totally absorbed by the beauty of this place. Trekked through the padi fields and interact with the friendly locals. It is totally amazing! Love this place. The temple is under reconstruction but it is a really must see place in Borobudur region.

    No temple but amazing rice terraces walk
    The Selogriyo temple (small Hindu temple) is currently under reconstruction (totally taken apart and rebuilt), but the walk up there is wonderful, with sprawling terraces similar to those in Bali, yet far less crowded! The walk is gentle in terms of slope but quite far (30 mins each way).
