Interesting Visit
We went by for a soak in the hot spring. It is quite well organized and very family oriented. Public hot spring is like a public swimming pool and there are some food stalls as well. They have ice cream too which is great after a soak. Couples can also opt to soak in a private hot tub in a room.

Holiday
Nice place to get one soaked up in a hot spring which many believe the water really cures all sort of sickeness. Place is always crowded with locals or tourist. Food are eatable though not many restaurants are available there.

Sari Ater Hot Spring
We actually plan to visit the volcano Tangkuban Perahu, but it is closed at 4pm. Hence we adjourned to Sari Ater Hot Spring which is 15-20 minutes drive away. Main entrance fees was IDR100,000 which entitled to use the common pools. You need to pay additional IDR40,000 - 45,000 to enter the so called hotter pool, which is covered and look like a swimming pool style, or pay IDR60,000 to a private pool. There will be few men at the entrance to pass you umbrella either for the hot sun or rain, we thought this is the free service provided by the park, until we exit the umbrella man demanded IDR10,000 for each umbrella returned. I find that not worth the travel from Bandung town to this hot spring.
