Coffee on the Bus trip to Plaosan

It was just awesome, arrived in the sunset time was perfect for the family... My nieces also more than happy to see the temples, unfortunately we cannot enter the temple, but that's not a big deal because we can enjoy from outside also... Hopefully covid19 soon going so we can enjoy the temples properly, and for sure we will come back again.

    Worth the visit- no crowds!
This temple is also beautiful but is great to visit because there are not the crowds associated with other sites. We paid an entry fee / donation because I hope it goes towards restoration work for the site. Some of the structures are in ruins on the ground, so I believe it is important to rebuild and fix. We walked around and had many of the cultural aspects explained to us by a local. Go inside where you can and see the amazing statues. If these building were in Europe you would not be able to touch and climb on them like we were able. Treat them carefully as they are gorgeous. Well worth the visit.

    Worth the stop
While Prambanan and Borobudor are the areas highlights, Plaosan is on the way back from Prambanan and definitely worth the stop. Very quiet, with virtually no one else around as you explore.
