One cool destination in Batu City, with a collection of thousands of birds from various countries. The ticket is relatively cheap, 50k. Apart from seeing the poultry collection, there is also a Bird Show at 11.00, and Word Of Parrot, at 13.00. During a pandemic, this place also implements health protocols by providing hand washing stations at the entrance, distance guarding limits, and body temperature checks.

Interesting Eco Park
The Jatim Park 2 has 3 park is nearby each others. I was suggested to go to Eco Green Park, Museum Satwa (animals museum) then Batu Secret Zoo. This can be whole day trip. The package (choices) is available at the entrance (cashier) of Jatim Park 2. Little train will send you to Eco Green Park from the entrance. Make sure you don’t return to other parks between 12pm- 1pm, it’s break time. Cute designs of old tv, computer, chains, etc turned to elephants and other animals. Many areas for students to learn about Eco green. Organic Strawberry juice was awesome, try it. Some animals are there, unique animals from all over the world. It’s an outdoor trip, make sure you prepare with hats and sunblock.

Interactive bird park
You will want to visit this park if you want to experience feeling close with the birds. Here we can feed the animals directly. The staffs are friendly & helpful. We were there with the kids during weekday,so it was not crowded at all but the shows werent as many as in weekend. Our kids wanted to feed the birds and ducks but it wasnt feeding time. However when i called the staff there and asked if we could feed the animals,the staff was happy to help. He brought us live fishes for the birds and when he saw our kids were afraid to touch the big fishes,he brought smaller fishes. After feeding the birds,he brought some food for the ducks and offered our kids to feed them. Toilets are easy to find,as well as foods and water. This park is big too,you will need to bring stroller. Or you can rent e-bike (like otoped) for IDR 100k for 3 hours. This park is just next to Batu Secret Zoo and Museum Satwa,so if you have one full day there,better buy the complete ticket package for the 3 parks. If you have 2 full days,better buy ticket Sakti for 7 parks such as Museum Tubuh,Museum Angkut,Batu Night Spectacular for IDR 275k / person. Worth visiting!
