"Interesting eye-opener!"
What a memorable tour. Steve was so passionate about sharing so much information about the prison, the history, the prisoners, the wardens in charge and a "day" in the prison. Was very interesting and eye-opening. Can not wait until Cellblcok 7 reopens and be able to tour that one as well. Highly recommend this tour....and highly recommend Steve!!!

Pleasantly Surprised
My family and I went on a tour of Jackson Historic Prison this past weekend. To be honest, I didn't care if I went or not, but it was a good opportunity to spend time with my family, so there I was. To say I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. It was fascinating. Our tour guide, Jim, was a wealth of information with a sense of humor and the ability to get us involved in some capacity. I would highly recommend this tour and if Jim is your tour guide, you've struck gold!

Excellent, I recommend this tour.
The tour was very interesting and informative. The old prison is a beautiful building and being able to see some of the tunnels and non public areas is great. The history of the prison, the staff and some prisoners is interesting and entertaining.
