Very poor value for money (Jet Skis) and customer service.
During our two week stay at Camping Stella Maris we hired two jet skis at a cost of 440 Kunas (£58) for 10 minutes (a lot I know but my daughters were keen for the experience and so contributed towards the cost). After leaving the waterside dock it took us 3 minutes to get to ‘safe zone’ (during this time the speed is limited to just tick over) once we were at the zone the jet skis were very erratic and in my opinion unsafe to ride as the engine kept speeding up and then slowing down due to the ‘safety control devices fitted’. After only 4 minutes the buzzer alarms went off advising us to take the 3 minute journey back. So in all for £58 all we got was no more than a few minutes to enjoy the Jet Ski at speed. When I complained to three separate members of staff they all shrugged their shoulders and said they would ‘tell the boss’. I would of also liked to do water skiing and use the inflatables but with such poor customer service I shall instead be telling my friends at the resort not to bother as there are several other water sports centres nearby.
